The Great Outdoors

There really is nothing better than getting out stretching your legs and breathing in the some fine clean Scottish air. Sometimes we all get bogged down in the daily grind forgetting to take in our surroundings. If you’re needing to revitalise yourself a break at Loch Tay could be just the ticket.

Situated just a few miles outside of Killin in Perthshire, we have the vast wilderness right on our doorstep.

Loch Tay, it’s in our name!

At the bottom of the park is Loch Tay which is Scotland sixth largest loch and we have our very own Marina. It’s situated in one of the best stretches of water on the loch and we have lots of watersports and activities available. However if that doesn’t quite ‘float your boat’ you can simply enjoy the scenery sitting in the the Italian Bistro situated right next to the marina.

Munro Bagging

Above the park is the mighty Ben Lawers, Scotland’s 10th highest Munro. Get it ticked off your list. If you’re feeling adventurous with your munro bagging there is a route that incorporates all 7 of the Lawers Munros. That might only be for the experienced hill walker, however.

The Good Life

However to be outdoors doesn’t mean you have to climb a hill a take up open water swimming. Just enjoy the peace and quiet, at night you can barely hear a car on the road as you sit in your outdoor hot-tub.

Loch Tay Highland Lodges really can create a relaxing holiday to take your mind off all the stress and strain of daily life. Just do what you want to do and we’ll provide the place to stay.
